I don't really know why do a blog post for these videos, it's not like I have anything new to say. If you want these to be a detailed 'behind-the-scenes' thing let me know, but it would probably be pretty dull...
Today I stuttered a lot, found that my room was to hot but managed to fit into an old pair of shorts that were too small for me a week ago despite making myself apple & peanut butter chip pancakes for breakfast... Riviting stuff (!)
Whatever, I do write a blog post for these videos and so here it is.

  1. The above is one of my favourite photos of me, it is a photo of ME, not all the effort I put into looking human!
  2. I am obsessed with paralympic sport, I find it so motivating. I may not be able to do that but I can keep going with what I can do.
  3. I always wanted to have naturally ginger ringlets, like in old Renaissance painting.
  4. I don't like caffeinated drinks, I can smell the caffeine & it makes me feel queasy.
  5. I feel sometimes like I'm not really from England, I'm from the South of America cause a lot of the things I like to eat are more American than they are British - peanut butter, pumpkin pie, sweet potato etc,
  6. I really don't get on with seafood...I mean I like fish but....
  7. My eyes change colour all the time, they are green mostly but the shade changes & sometimes they are blue.
  8. I am from Yorkshire in the UK, which is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
  9. I don't find yawns contagious.
  10. I always wanted a pixie cut, but when I was a teenager my friends convinced me I would look ugly.

Day out at Whitby

On Saturday I went to Whitby with my family. Whitby is my favourite bit of seaside in the whole wide world. I mean it's lost a lot of it's appeal since I got sick but it's still my favourite.
My Mum's parents ran a hotel in Scarbrough when she was a kid & like anyone who was raised by the sea she misses it if she's away for too long. For that reason I kow the Yorkshire Coast pretty well. My favourite has to be Whitby, the town has an amazing old town with cute little shops & a really nice beach. Plus there are all the Goths, with it being the home of Dracula & all that.

OOTD Summer Chic

Getting dressed in a wheelchair is a horrible job in general but I have to say the evil geniuses who design wheelchairs make it a lot harder in summer. Why? Because wheelchairs are mostly black & 3-4 minutes in the sun can make my wheelchair into a heated torture chair as I have been learning to my downfall.
I have been loving wearing something over my strappy dresses, basically so I can lean back in my chair without frying like an egg... Not a jacket though because I have to say NO-ONE should be wearing a jacket in 30 degree C weather. Anyway, this is an outfit of the day not a rant about the wheelchair. Let's see what I was wearing....

Nail Routine

So I know that as far as blogging goes I've been kind of slacking. You try getting motivated when it's this lovely out. I mean, I've not been getting out in it as much as I would like...but it's still really hard to focus.
Regardless, nails still need doing whatever the weather & mine REALLY needed doing so I thought I'd share what I do.
I really enjoy mixing up what I do on my nails. I'm not so good at nail art or anything but I have a lot of fun & it makes me feel so much better about my gross hands.

The Secret World

So I am not much of a gamer. In fact I'm not a gamer at all, I really struggle with console pads and pc gaming have too many controls for me. I love gaming storylines, I just don't have the skill to play them. There is however one exception to that rule, and that is The Secret World  MMORPG by Funcom.
This game has an increadible storyline, great concept - it's set in a modern day, alternate reality with magic, like all the best urban fantasy books - and is totally cool.
Oh, yeah and the missions are really, really fun. Even better for me, most of them can be played by yourself if necessary.
