Halloween

So, Halloween. I've never been a big Halloween nut...I can't cope with horror movies & in my area there are maybe 4 families that do trick or treating. So generally Halloween is just like any other day for me, but I'm on pinterest now.... So what? But if you are on pinterest you'll know that you end up getting slightly suckered into all kinds of things - like lusting over slow cookers, thanksgiving food & Halloween. So I've been thinking about Halloween & this year I think I may do a little...maybe watch a Halloween movie, a TV series, or just read a good book....

OOTD: Autumn/Fall Pastels

So, I got this amazing new electric wheelchair. It folds up to fit in the car & I can take the wheels off & put manual wheels on instead. It's the best thing in the whole world. So I thought I'd show off in an OOTD. I hadn't really planned to do this so I'm not 100% happy with this outfit, the boots look so wrong with this outfit but w/e. The rest is pretty cute & I like it.

Pain friendly crafting

I get a lot of joint pain all over & lactic acid burn if I exert myself, even a little bit. It's something I deal with but that makes crafting very hard. Until recently I wasn't crafting at all, it was just too hard & I couldn't think of anyways around this. However, a couple of months back I joined pinterest & with so many amazing crafts out there I felt like I had to do something. I started out by making marshmallow (you will have seen my post) but things have snowballed a bit since then.
So I thought maybe I'd let you in on the projects I've been working on & the fun I've been having...

Elderflower Marshmallows

You would not BELIEVE the week I've had. I developed a bloody awful cold (seriously, I was freakishly out of it), a cold sore that felt like it covered half my face & a blister on my lip that could be seen from outer-space.... Yeah, so when I finally started to feel a little less like a medieval serf, I decided to try to make marshmallow...it was loads of fun & I actually managed really well & this stuff is actually very easy & fun to make. I can see myself making a butt load more of this stuff...
