Wheelchair Fashion: Mint & Floral Semi-Casual
I really need to get better at writing the random information you add into wheelchair fashion posts, I always feel super awkward....does anyone really read this stuff?
Anyway, I took these photos yesterday in York (if you look close you can see the shaken & slightly battered look in my eyes after ALL THOSE COBBLES!!!!). York has a food festival on at the moment & I was really happy to be able to go to a food festival during the week when it wouldn't be so busy. Unfortunately because it was during the week & therefore not so busy the food festival wasn't as interesting as I'm sure it would be on a weekend or possibly even today. Today however I am resting ready for IMATS ^^
This outfit is exactly the kind of style I like to wear the most, style that looks best (if I'm honest) when moving. I was inspired by this look from
finding femme & it looks SO MUCH BETTER on her but I still really like it. It's just so easy to wear & these jeans are by far my favourites at the moment. They are SO comfortable & nicely fitted to my seated, curvy, size 14 frame (with size 16 hips) despite being boyfriend cut & casual.
IMATS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED I CAN'T EVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do I do statement lips or big eye makeup? What do I even wear?
P.S. I will probably be doing a giveaway when I get back, is there anything particular people would like to see in it?
I love mint, it's my favourite colour at the moment. I bought a few items when I was at home, well I think I just bought the colour mint haha. This is a perfect casual look, personally I think mint is way better than mustard, just saying ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a lovely time at IMATS, although I think I'm confused and may have already seen your post on IMATS... I don't know.
Mint is such a cute colour ^^
DeleteI did an IMATS tag in preparation for IMATS, I think that might be the post that confused you :S IMATS is a big deal for me so I get very over excited by it ^^

Love the print on these shoes xxx
ReplyDeleteIsn't it the cutest? I don't really do trainers (this is my only pair) but I had to have these because of the beautiful print ^^

You went to IMATS! So jealous ;) What was it like? I thought only makeup artists could go? :S Also, do you find you have to buy less stretchy clothes in a size up because you're sat down all the time? I find it hard for my anorexia brain to deal with but I'm starting to learn it's not because I've gained weight, it's because I'm scrunched up and M.E bloated :S Hope you're doing okay :)

I have an IMATS post but it was amazing! It's not just for makeup artists anymore, anyone can get tickets. It is CRAZY busy on the Saturday, although that's the best day to go (there is a nice quiet balcony which is handy for those of us who need breaks from the mania ^^).
DeleteI always have to buy less stretchy clothes in AT LEAST one size up. It must be horrible for anorexia brain to cope with....
Anorexia brain must make M.E. really hard, I have to eat basically all the time to keep going. Anorexia won't let you do that will it? That sucks! I want to hug you so much.....
