July Beauty & Random Favourites
Today I stuttered a lot, found that my room was to hot but managed to fit into an old pair of shorts that were too small for me a week ago despite making myself apple & peanut butter chip pancakes for breakfast... Riviting stuff (!)
Whatever, I do write a blog post for these videos and so here it is.
I have been fake tanning in prep for my holiday & the tan I was using was the Fake Bake Gradual Fake Tanner in Fair. Good stuff this...watch the video if you want more deets.
Wearing makeup has been really tricky in the heat, as I said in my top 10 summer products video & if you've seen that video or read that post the foundation that has been coping with the heat is the No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation.
Yves Saint Laurent Babydoll Mascara, this mascara is really amazing. It lengthens, defines & seperates your lashes. It even gives a little volume. I've found that it makes me look really, truely awake. Which is never a bad thing but when you are medically exhausted, this stuff is pretty much essential...
The Urban Decay Ammo Palette was probably one of the first palettes I have ever bought. It was definately the first one that wasn't all neutrals. This is the re-release with the new Urban Decay eyeshadow formulations! All the things I loved about the old palette without any of the infamous chunky Urban Decay glitter. I almost cried when my old version of this bit the dust & I'm really happy to have a replacement.
Too Faced make really lovely eyeshadow palettes & they would always be what I would recommend to any beginner. That & a few No7 brushes. The Too Faced Boudoir palette is just as good as any of the others I've tried. Probably actually better. It has a great smokey blend of colours but you could make any number of beautiful day looks with this palette. I really could go on about these palettes ad nauseum. I love them.
