Wheelchair Fashion: Biker Ballerina (or glitter monochrome)

I love my tulle skirts but when it gets to winter I start to feel like they're not a realistic choice. On pinterest I'll see image after image of women in jumpers, a tulle skirt & heels looking like as soon as they finish taking pictures they'll be running home to escape frost bite & that's all very well & good...if you live in a fashion magazine. But I'm here to tell you that winter is cold & I need tights to keep me warm, and boots....and preferably a coat.
Anyway, this was what I came up with as one way to wear my tulle skirt without getting freezing cold & I think it looks pretty cute.

Please forgive the weird facial expressions, I'd just gone over some very uncomfortable cobbles & was trying not to swear ;)

I know the glitter isn't super visible but I'd actually got glitter on my eyes, in my tights & my jumper & I'd even put a touch of glitter in the highlights of my tattoo ^^

  2. Possibly/definitely the best blog post title ever, a biker ballerina or a glitter monochrome both sounds like they would rock the hell out of an outfit! I know what you mean about inspiration online from people who live in fashion magazine land. We need thermals! Have a good weekend lovely!

    1. Lmao, I'm not sure the outfit lived up to the titles ^^
I swear models (& some bloggers) have some secret invisible thermals they're not telling the rest of us about....either that or their made out of something cold proof lol ^^

  3. Great look and damn those cobbles. Cobbles need to be banned.

    1. Thank you ^^ And totally, cobbles are seriously painful but oh so pretty :S maybe they can make see through tarmac to go over cobbles & paving stones ;)

    1. Thank you :)
I love tulle, it gets great movement even sat down which is hard for 'normal' skirts to replicate. I can only imagine how amazing it must look on a girl strutting her stuff ^^

    1. Thank you ^^ I totally agree, one of the coolest outfits - in my opinion- is when a girl busts out a full on summer dress in autmn/winter with like a cardigan & thick tights. I always feel like it just oozes confidence ^^
