Wheelchair Fashion: Rose Gold Lense Flare

I had a super clever opening line planned for this post & I have totally forgotten it....and my brain is refusing to come up with a witty name for this post, I have no idea what this one is supposed to mean....(way to give away all my blogging secrets lol).
I got this jumper in the ASOS sales because it reminded me of a jumper I got 5, maybe 6 years ago that I wore until it literally unravelled at the seams. This one isn't quite as gorgeous - that one was a maroon meets cranberry colour & had 3/4 length sleeves - but it is nice peach-y cream colour that's going to work in my wardrobe all year round.

After last week's ootd was so good I felt like I had to prove to myself that it wasn't a fluke & that I could create amazing outfits two weeks in a row. I pulled out all the stops for this outfit: cute bag, adorable belt & a statement item of clothing....& I'm pretty sure last week's outfit was about a million times better. Eh, it's still a cute outfit & it's nice to go all out especially when I spend about every other day in pjs (I'm actually considering getting 'day pjs' as a separate pile of clothes....).

In case anyone is interested, I have no idea where my shoes are from (accessorize maybe?), the shirt is from Next (old), the jumper is from ASOS (in the sale last I checked), the belt is from ASOS, the skirt is from Ruche (old) & the bag is from accessorize (old).

The headband you can see in this picture is also from ASOS.... I seem to buy all of my accessories from Accessorize or ASOS, I should branch out more in where I shop from lol

    1. Thank you ^^
I love sequined skirts but, until I saw this one, I only ever saw tight, stretchy ones in the shops around new year & I could never bring myself to buy one. They're actually a lot of fun to wear once you have one although they are a bugger to clean lol ^^

  5. Just found you via shopruche blog! I have a sequin jacket same color as this skirt that I like to wear over a red dress, but I love how you paired it here with black and cream.
As a stay at home mother of four, I'm a pajama lovin' sweatpants kinda girl, too, but I DO go all out with an outift (and curl my hair) at least once a week, even if it is just to a children's activity or to run errands. My daughter loves to dress up, too! The two of us kind of stand out in our sparkles and lace on the playground where everyone else is in jeans and t-shirts or hoodies, but mostly people are kind and make nice comments. Which is good because I'm really a shy person and don't actually like to stand out. I just like to wear pretty things :)

    1. Oooo, I love the sound of that jacket & I love the idea of pairing this colour with red. I would never have thought of that.
I think dressing up is really important for self worth & confidence, I know that if I don't go all out once in a while & get so that I feel miserable & like I am as drab a person as the clothes I am wearing you know?
