Review: No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter

So highlighter....obviously not a required makeup product but one the people with round, undefined face (like mine) might want to invest in. The point of highlighters is that they make the part of the face that you put it on look more prominent...so if you have rubbish cheekbones highlighter makes them noticeable, or if your nose is as flat as mine this is a lot cheaper than plastic surgery lol.

Unfortunately for my flat nose, my skin eats up highlighter. Usually highlighters have to be very strong for it to do anything for me....that is, until I bought this highlighter.
I have to admit, I did not intend to buy this highlighter. I had heard all the hype but I really didn't think it was worth even trying, I had basically given up on highlighters. I was actually planning to get the No7 stick blushers....thankfully I liked this a lot more when I got there. It's now one of the 'do not miss' steps in my makeup routine.

Okay, so why is it so good? Honestly, I think it's the fact it's a solid stick...the texture is right in between a buttery powder & a dry cream highlighter... For some reason this texture makes it last & last & last on my skin. It is also what makes me forgive the fact that that it is a pink toned highlighter...not that you can tell particularly on the skin...the tint is pale enough that even on my super pale skin you can't see it.
Last thing I love about this is how much there is - 5.5g. I'm not sure I will ever run out!

However - there always has to be a 'however' in a review, there is no such thing as a perfect product - so far, this highlighter only comes in this shade which probably won't work for everyone...

Good Points

  • Lasts really well on the skin
  • Really naturally radiant
  • Blends stunningly
  • Almost imperceptible on the skin...but you can see what it does
  • Doesn't look sweaty
  • Lasts & lasts & lasts
  • It actually shows up on my skin
  • Cheap - (£9.95)

Bad Points

  • Only comes in one shade
  • Only available from boots...because it's No7

Would I buy it again? I don't think I'm ever going to run out, but yeah, yeah I would.

What do you guys think? Will you be adding this to your highlighter collection or do you already have a highlighter that can't be beat?
